Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Oceanscape Group’s services and website. By accessing our site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. About Us

Oceanscape Group Limited ("we", "our", or "us") is a New Zealand–owned medical tourism facilitator, connecting clients from New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and other countries with licensed and accredited healthcare providers in Türkiye. We also provide travel coordination, in-destination support, and aftercare services.

We are not a medical provider, and do not offer diagnosis, treatment, or clinical advice.

2. Role of Oceanscape Group

We act solely as a facilitator of elective medical travel. Our services include:

  • Connecting clients with licensed and accredited medical institutions

  • Coordinating treatment plans and provider consultations

  • Arranging accommodation, transport, interpretation, and concierge support

  • Supporting clients with travel planning via third-party, licensed travel agents

All medical decisions, procedures, and post-treatment care are the responsibility of the selected healthcare provider. We make no guarantees about medical outcomes.

3. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure services and treatment bookings.

  • Full payment schedules and refund terms will be shared during onboarding.

  • Payment for travel services is facilitated via our licensed travel partners.

  • Currency conversions, bank charges, and third-party transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.

Invoices are issued in NZD, AUD, or EUR unless otherwise agreed.

4. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal, medical, and travel information

  • Follow pre-operative and post-operative guidance from your medical provider

  • Ensure your general practitioner or local healthcare provider is aware of your treatment plans

  • Disclose all relevant medical history and documentation

  • Arrange any necessary insurance coverage, including optional complication insurance

Failure to do so may result in complications or cancellation of services, for which Oceanscape Group holds no liability.

5. Risk & Limitation of Liability

We work exclusively with reputable, accredited providers; however, all medical procedures carry risk. Oceanscape Group:

  • Does not accept liability for the performance, quality, or outcome of medical treatment

  • Is not liable for any medical negligence, complications, revision surgeries, or related damages

  • Is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or loss arising from airline, travel, or provider disruptions

6. Insurance & Travel Documents 

At Oceanscape Group, we understand that peace of mind matters. That's why we help you access the protection you need while travelling for medical care.

​

We organise complication insurance through a registered insurance broker in Türkiye, ensuring you’re supported in line with the country’s official regulations. This coverage is especially important for surgical clients and is becoming a legal requirement under Türkiye’s Ministry of Health Decree No. 5448 (5448 Sayılı Karar), which governs international health tourism services.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance in their home country before departure. Your policy should ideally cover:

  • Flight cancellations or delays

  • Lost or stolen luggage

  • Emergency accommodation

  • Medical evacuation (if needed)

  • Covid-19 or illness-related delays

You are responsible for arranging your general travel insurance unless otherwise discussed.

Complication Insurance

For all surgical procedures, we will coordinate complication insurance for you during onboarding. This insurance is arranged through our trusted partner in Türkiye and typically includes:

  • Emergency hospitalisation or extended stay

  • Revision surgery (if medically required)

  • Additional imaging, testing, or medication

  • Medical repatriation (if required)

The exact coverage may vary based on your procedure, provider, and policy chosen. We will walk you through this during onboarding and provide a summary of coverage terms in writing.

Your Responsibility

While Oceanscape Group supports and facilitates your insurance setup:

  • You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the policy terms before travel.

  • You agree that Oceanscape Group is not an insurer and does not guarantee coverage approval or claims outcomes.

  • Failure to hold appropriate insurance may delay or affect your treatment booking or travel plans.

7. Third-Party Services

Oceanscape Group works with third-party providers for:

  • Medical consultations and procedures

  • Travel and accommodation services

  • Transportation and interpretation

While we aim to work only with reputable partners, we are not liable for their acts, omissions, or service outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on this website (including images, text, logos, and videos) are the property of Oceanscape Group Limited and may not be used, copied, or distributed without written permission.

9. Website Use

You may not use our site to:

  • Post or transmit false, misleading, or defamatory content

  • Upload malicious code, attempt hacking, or disrupt service

  • Harvest or misuse data from the site

We reserve the right to restrict access or take legal action in cases of misuse.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, with any disputes to be resolved in New Zealand courts. If you are using our services from another country, you do so under your own jurisdiction and responsibility.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services implies your acceptance of any revised terms.
