Oceanscape Group is an international medical travel coordination company with operations in New Zealand and Türkiye and connections across selected global healthcare destinations.
We help people explore healthcare options beyond their home country and connect with appropriate medical professionals for assessment.
Once a healthcare provider has reviewed your enquiry, we coordinate the practical arrangements surrounding your care. This may include medical information flow, appointments, flights, accommodation, transfers, interpretation assistance, companion travel and destination support.
Your healthcare provider remains responsible for all medical advice, assessments and clinical decisions. Oceanscape brings the wider journey together, giving you one central point of contact and helping each stage feel clearer, more organised and better supported.
OUR STORY
Originally from Rotorua, New Zealand, Moana McRae has more than 20 years of experience across international travel, training, operations and client support.
Her career has taken her from New Zealand and Australia to the Middle East and Türkiye, where she has supported travellers, developed travel professionals and helped people navigate complex international journeys.
In 2020, Moana made Türkiye her home, settling in Yalıkavak on the Bodrum Peninsula. Living there gave her a deeper understanding of the country, its people, its healthcare system and the practical realities of navigating life across different cultures.
It also highlighted a much wider need.
People travel overseas for medical treatment for many different reasons. For some, it is about affordability. For others, it is about accessing advanced technology, specialist expertise, different treatment options or shorter waiting times than may be available at home.
However, finding a healthcare provider is only one part of the journey. Patients must also navigate medical information, international travel, accommodation, appointments, transfers, unfamiliar systems, recovery arrangements and communication across countries and time zones.
Moana saw an opportunity to bring these moving parts together within a more structured, supported and carefully coordinated ecosystem.
By combining her international travel experience, local knowledge and developing healthcare relationships, she created a service that connects people with medical professionals across selected global destinations while coordinating the practical arrangements surrounding their care.
That idea became Oceanscape Group.
Today, Oceanscape exists to make international medical travel feel less fragmented and overwhelming, giving clients one central point of contact and the support they need to focus on their treatment, their recovery and their health.

New Zealand
Our New Zealand operations provide a familiar point of contact for clients travelling from New Zealand, Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Through appropriately registered travel partners, we can help coordinate international flights, accommodation, insurance guidance and other travel arrangements alongside each client’s proposed treatment schedule.
Türkiye
Oceanscape’s Türkiye operations are established in Istanbul, with founder Moana McRae based in Yalıkavak on the Bodrum Peninsula.
This local presence provides access to healthcare institutions, specialists, international patient services and travel relationships across Istanbul, Bodrum and other parts of Türkiye.

We consider the requirements of each enquiry and help connect clients with an appropriate healthcare provider for assessment. The final treatment recommendation and decision always remain between the client and the treating medical professional.
International Travel Expertise
Medical travel is still travel.
Flights, entry requirements, accommodation, treatment dates, transfers, companions, recovery time and the return journey must work together. Our international travel experience helps us consider the entire journey, not only the medical appointment.
Local and International Networks
Our presence in New Zealand and Türkiye, combined with selected relationships in other destinations, gives clients access to a wider network of healthcare and travel services.
Where possible, we use local knowledge and destination support to help clients feel better prepared for what to expect.
