Quality and Safety Standards

Your safety matters. Oceanscape Group works only with healthcare institutions in Türkiye that hold the International Health Tourism Authorisation, the legal requirement for treating international patients.

We are an independent medical travel facilitation company.
We are not a healthcare provider. All medical assessments, advice, and decisions come directly from the licensed healthcare institution.

Licensed and Accredited Providers Only

We collaborate exclusively with institutions that meet Türkiye’s regulatory standards. Many also hold global accreditations such as:

• JCI
• TEMOS
• ISO-based quality systems

These confirm structured processes, patient safety protocols, and compliance with international benchmarks.

Our Independent Vetting Process

Before we work with any institution, we review:

• Licensing under the International Health Tourism Authorisation
• Accreditation and compliance status
• International patient care systems
• Communication standards and cultural awareness
• Suitability for NZ and Australian clients
• Bilingual patient support capability
• Local reputation and consistency

This ensures clients are introduced only to authorised, trusted providers.

Clear Boundaries for Safety

To remain compliant in NZ, Australia, and Türkiye:

• We do not provide medical advice
• We do not determine suitability
• We do not influence clinical decisions
• We do not describe procedures or outcomes
• We do not guarantee results
• We are not a clinic, surgeon or medical authority

This protects you and ensures all medical guidance comes directly from licensed professionals.

Safe Travel and Support

Our coordination follows strict standards, including:

• TAANZ-accredited NZ travel partners
• TÜRSAB-registered Türkiye agencies
• Verified hotels and transfers
• 24/7 Türkiye-based support
• Cultural and practical preparation before travel

We aim to make your travel experience organised, respectful and supported.

Our Commitment

We commit to:

• Working only with licensed institutions
• Providing clear and accurate information
• Respecting cultural expectations
• Protecting your data
• Offering structured, non-clinical support

Oceanscape Group exists to make medical travel safe, clear and human-centred.

Client Rights, Responsibilities and Conduct

Oceanscape Group is committed to a clear, respectful, and supportive journey for all clients. These guidelines help protect you and everyone involved.

Your Rights

Clients have the right to:

• Clear information about coordination and travel
• Privacy and secure handling of personal data
• Access to licensed healthcare institutions
• Cultural respect and dignity
• A fair investigation if concerns arise
• Support before, during, and after travel

Your Responsibilities

Clients must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Follow instructions from the licensed healthcare institution
• Behave respectfully toward staff and companions
• Respect cultural expectations in Türkiye
• Report concerns immediately

Providing false information may affect suitability, safety, insurance and refunds.

Companion Conduct

Companions must also behave respectfully.
If a companion disrupts care or safety, Oceanscape Group may:

• Limit their access to support services
• Require separation from group activities
• Escalate concerns to hotel or transport partners

Escalation and Complaints

If you have a concern:

  1. Report it to Oceanscape Group immediately in writing

  2. We will liaise with the licensed institution

  3. The institution investigates clinical matters

  4. We provide updates once a response is received

Clients agree not to publish concerns online or contact media before a formal investigation has been completed. This protects accuracy, fairness, and all parties involved.

Cultural Respect Statement

Oceanscape Group is built on respect, care and cultural understanding.
Our clients come from New Zealand, Australia and around the world, and many bring unique cultural identities, including Māori, Pasifika, First Nations and migrant communities.

We honour both.

We make every effort to include this in your coordination.
