FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Thinking about travelling to Türkiye for medical care?
Oceanscape Group is a New Zealand owned medical travel facilitation company supporting clients from New Zealand and Australia to access licensed, accredited healthcare institutions in Türkiye. We are not a hospital or clinic. Our role is to guide you through the coordination and travel process with clarity, transparency and on-the-ground support, while all medical assessments and decisions are handled directly by the authorised healthcare institution.
Q
Is there a legit NZ or Australian company that helps with plastic surgery in Türkiye?
Yes. Oceanscape Group is a New Zealand owned facilitator that helps clients from NZ and Australia access licensed, accredited healthcare institutions in Türkiye. We are not a medical provider. We work only with institutions authorised under Türkiye’s International Health Tourism Licence.
Q
What types of treatments can Oceanscape Group help me with?
Because of Ministry of Health rules, we cannot advertise treatment details.
Instead, we introduce you to licensed healthcare institutions based on the information you provide in your Readiness Form. The institution then shares all medical assessments, advice and treatment options directly with you.
Our role is to coordinate travel, logistics and support, not to provide medical information.
Q
How do I know it's safe? There are so many stories online.
Safety starts with choosing the right provider. We work only with licensed institutions in Türkiye that hold the required authorisations to treat international patients. All clinical decisions, assessments and outcomes come directly from the licensed provider. We support you with transparent itineraries, private transfers, bilingual support and optional complication cover through a licensed Turkish insurance broker.
Q
What exactly does Oceanscape Group do?
Oceanscape Group is not a hospital or clinic. We manage the coordination and support side of your journey. This includes:
• Your initial consult with our team
• Sharing your Readiness Form with the licensed institution
• Travel coordination through TAANZ and TÜRSAB registered partners
• Airport transfers, accommodation and planning
• General support before, during and after your stay
All medical decisions are made only by the licensed institution.
Q
Do I have to travel alone? Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You may bring a companion or support person. We can organise shared accommodation, flights and on-the-ground assistance for your companion. Companions must follow cultural expectations and local rules, and behave respectfully within hospitals and accommodation.
Q
I’m nervous. Can I talk to someone who’s done this before?
Yes. You can request to speak with a previous client ambassador who is happy to share their experience. They can talk about travel, support, accommodation and what the overall process felt like. They cannot provide medical advice or discuss surgical outcomes.
Q
What makes Oceanscape Group different from cheap overseas package deals?
We operate under strict legal and compliance standards in New Zealand, Australia and Türkiye.
This means:
• We work only with licensed institutions
• We follow Ministry of Health rules about advertising
• We provide transparent coordination before and after travel
• We operate through TAANZ and TÜRSAB registered travel partners
• We prioritise informed decisions, cultural respect and client safety
We do not promote unlicensed providers or unverified online offers.
